While using Our Service, We may collect the following Personal Data to generate personalized macro and nutrition recommendations. This information is provided directly by You when completing your profile inside the Application.

Account Data (if applicable)

If the Service offers account features, we may collect basic account and registration information such as your email address.

Nutrition & Meal Data

If you choose to use tracking features, you may provide meal logs and related information such as foods, quantities, nutrition targets, activity notes, and other entries you add to the app. This information can be considered sensitive in some jurisdictions.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service and may include information such as Your Device's IP address, browser type and version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including but not limited to: mobile device type, device unique ID, mobile operating system, mobile browser type and other diagnostic data.

Third-Party AI Processing

To generate personalized macro and nutrition recommendations, certain profile information is securely transmitted to OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States).

The data transmitted may include:

  • Activity level
  • Fitness goals
  • Diet preferences
  • Medical conditions (if provided)
  • Allergies (if provided)

This data is transmitted solely for the purpose of generating personalized nutrition recommendations. We require that our third-party AI service provider maintains privacy and security protections that are equal to or greater than those described in this Privacy Policy.

Legal Basis and User Consent

Before transmitting any Personal Data to our third-party AI provider, the Application presents a clear consent screen explaining what data will be shared, with whom it will be shared, and the purpose of sharing.

Data is transmitted only after You provide explicit consent by tapping “Agree & Share Data” (or an equivalent consent confirmation).

You may decline consent; however, certain AI-powered features may not function without this data processing.

Food Image Analysis and AI Processing

When You use the “Scan Food” or “Food Label” features within the Application, We collect and process image data to generate nutrition analysis.

Data Collected for “Scan Food”

When You capture a food image using the camera, We may collect:

  • The captured food image
  • Prompt: "Identify the food in this image and return name, calories, protein, fat, carbs and insight."

Data Collected for “Food Label”

When You capture or upload an image of a packaged food label, We may collect:

  • The captured label image
  • Prompt: "Read the nutritional label and return name, calories, protein, fat, carbs and insight."

Third-Party AI Service Provider

To analyze food images and extract nutritional information, the above data is securely transmitted to:

  • OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States)

This data is processed solely for the purpose of:

  • Identifying food items
  • Extracting nutrition facts
  • Calculating macronutrient values
  • Generating personalized nutrition insights

We require that OpenAI, L.L.C. provides privacy and data protection standards equal to or greater than those described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell Your Personal Data.

User Consent for AI Processing

Before transmitting any image or related data to OpenAI, L.L.C., the Application presents a clear consent screen explaining what data will be shared, the purpose of sharing, and the identity of the third-party service provider.

Data is transmitted only after You provide explicit consent by selecting “Agree & Continue” or equivalent confirmation within the Application.

If You decline, the AI-powered food analysis features will not function.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: to host the Service, provide analytics, deliver customer support, and help us operate and improve the Service.
  • For business transfers: in connection with mergers, financing, asset sales or acquisitions.
  • With Affiliates: where affiliates are required to honor this Privacy Policy.
  • With Your consent: for any other purpose with Your agreement.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time unless used to strengthen security, improve functionality, or when legally required to retain it longer.

Retention of Food Images

Food images submitted for analysis are not permanently stored by Us unless required to provide account-based history features.

Where images are temporarily processed, they are deleted from our active systems after analysis is completed.

Residual encrypted copies may exist temporarily in backup systems in accordance with our backup retention policy.

Retention of AI-Processed Data

We do not permanently store health-related profile data unless necessary to provide account-based features. If stored, such data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service and is securely deleted when no longer required.

The third-party AI provider processes data solely for generating responses and does not use it for independent marketing or profiling purposes.

Your Right to Request Deletion

You may request deletion of Your Personal Data at any time by contacting:

Upon receiving a verified request:

  • We will delete Your Personal Data from our active systems within 30 days
  • We will request deletion of associated Personal Data from OpenAI, L.L.C., where applicable
  • Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate legal purposes.

Your information may be processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in processing are located — this may involve transfer to locations with different data protection laws.
